Jeremy Lin does it again. He leads a Knicks team to beat a decent Jazz team without Amare, with no Melo (injured groin early in the first), and Tyson sitting a lot with foul trouble.
That leaves JARED JEFFRIES (everyone thinks you’re a scrub because you miss layups all the time, but really great defense as of late), LANDRY FIELDS (love you, but you need to gain your confidence back), BILL WALKER (be more consistent dude and get a new haircut), STEVE NOVAK (I’ve been wondering when I was gonna see that 3 shooting show up), JEROME JORDAN (dude sometimes I don’t even feel this guy plays basketball, just a big body to rebound), and others I’m too lazy to mention.
I’m so glad I picked him up on fantasy haha, anyway, 28 points 8 assists (could have been more if it wasn’t for blown layups).
As an Asian American that goes to predominantly Asian American university, I love seeing the culture change and the twitter blow-ups about Jeremy. I’ve supported him ever since I heard of him as a Warrior. I used him in NBA 2k12 above Iman, Baron, Bibby, and Douglas, and I’m so glad he’s getting recognized. I would have been super stoked with ANYBODY stepping up as a point guard for the Knicks, but to see it be Jeremy Lin is really uplifting and inspirational.
Can’t wait to see them face the Lakers, I have a bet to win. Plus, loads of Asian Laker fans would probably cheer Jeremy on too haha (they’re really into trends and hype lol). To be honest, lots of Laker fans are total homers and semi-fans that annoy me when I’m at bars seeing them call foul on every single play.
KEEP IT ROLLIN’ KNICKS.
@1 year ago with 4 notesI’m getting back into the habit of playing basketball regularly now and this perfectly encapsulates my experience thus far. Shooting the ugliest bricks and completely out of breath 90% of the time.

I HALT EVERYTHING THAT I WANT TO DO AND END UP DOING NOTHING INSTEAD. What’s that, best friends? You wanna hang out? Oh crap I’m sorry I have to study for this midterm coming up in two days. BAM! Spend the whole day moping around with my notes and books right next to me, but not actually studying because I have a 42” LCD HDTV in my room with a Queen sized bed and Netflix so I can comfortably have myself a How I Met Your Mother marathon all day. On top of that, I become too lazy to go out and buy food so I cook something really bad for me which today was Instant Noodles (Shin Ramyun, with 3 eggs, napa cabbage, white beech mushrooms). I ate this twice today.
Study Progress: I’ve read one page so far and it was full of pictures and graphs that I just overlooked. I’ve got 5 chapters to master by Wednesday. Also I missed my lecture today. Fuck.
